About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to lead our purchasing activities, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost‑reduction initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of optical, mechanical, and electronic components.

Key responsibilities

  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Negotiate prices, delivery dates, terms and conditions.
  • Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date Approved Vendor List (AVL).
  • Transform MRP purchase demands into purchase orders.
  • Monitor and achieve On‑Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
  • Perform daily/weekly follow‑up on open purchase orders.
  • Set and meet cost‑reduction goals.

Required profile

  • Proven experience procuring optical, mechanical and electronic parts.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
