Senior Bookkeeper

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to lead our finance bookkeeping function within a fast‑growing cybersecurity company. The role reports to the Senior Director of Finance and will manage a team of experienced bookkeepers while ensuring accurate and timely financial records. You will work in a dynamic, high‑growth environment and help shape tech‑driven bookkeeping processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of bookkeepers, overseeing workflow and professional standards.
• Own end‑to‑end bookkeeping, including full accounts payable and receivable cycles, collections and bank reconciliations.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and maintain the general ledger.
• Identify and implement process improvements and technology‑enabled bookkeeping solutions.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as invoice processing time, payment accuracy and close timelines.
• Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisors and vendors as needed.

Required profile

• Chief Certified Bookkeeper (Type 3) with 7‑10 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a high‑tech environment.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end close, reconciliations, VAT and financial controls.
• Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a strong technological orientation.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
