Senior Backend Developer

About the role

BioCatch is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join its core backend team. You will help build and scale services that process high‑volume, real‑time traffic while meeting strict latency and SLA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core backend services handling large‑scale, real‑time data streams.
• Implement cloud‑native architectures and micro‑service patterns to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated testing to deliver high‑quality code.

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of software development experience on large‑scale systems.
• At least 4 years of professional experience with Python.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud architecture, microservices, CI/CD, and Docker environments.
