Revenue Controller

About the role

Semperis is seeking a Revenue Controller to join its finance team and support the company’s rapid growth in the cybersecurity space. You will ensure accurate revenue recognition, manage month‑end close activities, and partner with customer‑facing teams to drive financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes in accordance with US GAAP.
• Review customer and partner agreements to confirm proper billing and ASC‑606 revenue recognition.
• Execute month‑end closing tasks, including revenue analytics, deferred revenue reconciliations and ARR reporting.
• Prepare and maintain reports that support business needs and financial planning.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects to improve workflows, internal controls and documentation.
• Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Assist in implementing new finance policies and provide ongoing support to operational teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA certification.
• 3+ years experience at a Big 4 firm or 2+ years in a public‑company, high‑tech or SaaS environment.
• Hands‑on expertise in revenue recognition under US GAAP (ASC 606).
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
