Researcher – AI Foundations

About the role

IBM Research is seeking a researcher to join its Beer Sheva lab, focusing on generative AI and cybersecurity. You will work in a small, collaborative team, contributing to cutting‑edge ideas that may influence IBM products and the broader security landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop novel AI models and algorithms for security‑focused applications.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Israel and internationally on research projects.
• Publish research findings and file patents where appropriate.
• Translate research outcomes into prototypes that can be integrated into IBM solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on coding experience in Python.
• Strong background in machine learning or natural language processing.
• Interest in applying AI techniques to cybersecurity challenges.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
