Quality Technologist

About the role

A leading food company is looking for a Quality Technologist to manage supplier quality, ensure product safety, and support quality processes across the supply chain and production operations. The role involves close collaboration with local and international suppliers, leading quality initiatives and risk control activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality for raw materials and packaging, including communication, certification collection, and gap resolution.
• Lead production trials for new raw materials and packaging, perform on‑site adjustments, analyse results and prepare reports.
• Conduct supplier audits, approve new suppliers and maintain the supplier risk assessment matrix.
• Provide technical support to Quality Control teams and act as a liaison with customers.
• Document, monitor and manage quality data within the Priority ERP system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, Life Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Technologist or in a quality‑related role within the food or process manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience working with suppliers and conducting supplier audits.
• High‑level English proficiency.
