Quality and Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Quality & Reliability Engineer will drive product quality, reliability and regulatory compliance across the entire product lifecycle, from design and qualification through manufacturing and customer support. Working closely with R&D, Manufacturing and Operations, you will lead qualification programs, manage failure analyses and support certification activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and analyse environmental qualification testing and product validation.
• Lead DFMEA/PFMEA activities with cross‑functional teams.
• Perform reliability analyses, develop improvement actions based on field data and define test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Develop quality plans, work instructions and technical documentation for new products.
• Conduct failure investigations, root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Plan and execute internal and external audits and maintain the Quality Management System.
• Coordinate certification projects with external labs (UL, CE, IEC) and ensure compliance with international standards (RoHS, REACH, IEC).
• Prepare technical documentation for product approvals and support design reviews from a regulatory perspective.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality, reliability or manufacturing engineering on electro‑mechanical products.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew with strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Self‑driven, organized and able to coordinate cross‑functional activities.

• Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5‑Why, Ishikawa).
• FMEA methodology (DFMEA, PFMEA).
• Statistical and reliability analysis.
• Environmental qualification testing standards.
• Product certification processes (UL, CE, IEC).
• ERP systems – NetSuite or similar.
