QC Team Leader

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a QC Team Leader to oversee daily operations of its Quality Control laboratory in Kiryat-Ono. The role ensures timely, compliant testing of raw materials, in‑process materials, and finished products while supporting manufacturing and product release activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day‑to‑day QC laboratory activities, including raw material testing.
• Set laboratory priorities, allocate resources, and support employee development and training.
• Review analytical results, laboratory records, and compliance documentation to support product release.
• Lead investigations, deviations, OOS/OOT events, and root‑cause analyses, ensuring timely closure and corrective actions.
• Drive data trending, performance monitoring, and continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a Quality Control laboratory or similar analytical environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory compliance, and product release processes.
• Ability to mentor and develop a team of analysts.
• Experience conducting investigations, handling deviations, and performing root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborative mindset to work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and R&D teams.
