QA Automation Engineer - CDH

About the role

The Crossix Data Platform connects massive patient healthcare data from multiple sources daily, using privacy‑safe methods to give life‑science companies a current view of the US market. As a QA Automation Engineer you will ensure the quality of the cloud‑based infrastructure that processes these large, privacy‑protected datasets, working with Java, Spark and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate within an agile team to design and execute test plans.
• Create, maintain and run integration, sanity and regression tests for platform services.
• Document test coverage and analyse test results to drive improvements.
• Participate in all Scrum activities including estimation, planning and reviews.
• Utilise CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins and JIRA on a daily basis.
• Leverage AWS services (S3, message queues) together with REST APIs and relational databases to validate backend solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a GPA of 83 or higher, or completion of military service in a technological unit (grade sheet required).
• Motivated recent graduate eager to learn and grow professionally.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and experience coding in Java.

Required skills

• Java programming.
