Purchasing Coordinator & Buyer

About the role

ACS Motion Control is seeking a proactive Purchasing Coordinator & Buyer to support its growing purchasing department. The role focuses on nurturing vendor relationships, managing purchase orders from creation to delivery, and ensuring the best service, quality, on‑time delivery and cost for internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure optimal service and pricing.
• Oversee the full purchase‑order cycle, from order entry to receipt of goods in the warehouse.
• Provide responsive purchasing support to all company departments and employees.
• Participate in supplier onboarding, including negotiation and qualification.
• Assume the purchasing manager’s duties when they are absent.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Engineering, practical engineering, logistics, or at least 2 years of experience in a similar industrial purchasing role.
• Excellent planning, organization and ability to work under pressure.
• Team‑player with high integrity, hands‑on and detail‑oriented.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in both Hebrew and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP systems for procurement processes.
