Project Manager (Consumer Hardware)

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, fast‑learning Project Manager to drive end‑to‑end development of consumer hardware products, from concept through market launch. The role acts as the operational glue between product, R&D, operations, marketing and external suppliers, ensuring plans become tangible results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary consumer product projects, coordinating hardware, software, mechanics, packaging and production.
• Own project plans, schedules, risk logs, documentation and release‑readiness checklists.
• Track budgets, target BOM costs and resource allocation.
• Facilitate project meetings, follow up on actions and drive issues to closure.
• Collaborate closely with factories, OEM/ODM partners and international subcontractors.
• Support certification, compliance, production readiness and post‑launch improvements.
• Provide clear visibility to management on status, risks and priorities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years or more of technical/multidisciplinary project management experience (software, hardware, mechanics) or equivalent leadership in complex production environments.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanics; engineering degree (IE&M, Electrical or Mechanical) preferred.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication in English.
• Willingness to work across China and US time zones and travel to China several times a year.
• Experience with international suppliers and consumer electronics is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project‑management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Jira or Notion.
• Understanding of electronics, mechanical design and bill‑of‑materials cost tracking.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, product certifications and regulatory compliance.
