Procurement Buyer – Raw Materials, Electronics & Construction

About the role

We are expanding our procurement team at a leading defense company in central Israel. The Procurement Buyer will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, electronics or construction & infrastructure items, ensuring timely delivery and cost‑effective solutions for our projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes for the assigned domain, from RFQ issuance to contract execution.
• Conduct commercial negotiations, create and maintain purchase orders, and monitor deliveries against project schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, finance and project management teams.
• Identify, evaluate and develop supplier relationships, supporting cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, Logistics, Economics or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Procurement Buyer or Supplier Manager in a technological, industrial, electronics, mechanical or construction environment.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Technical understanding of at least one domain: raw materials, electronics, or construction & infrastructure.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
