Principal Signal/Power Integrity Engineer

About the role

Marvell is seeking a Principal Signal/Power Integrity Engineer to lead the development of power and signal solutions for its high‑performance semiconductor devices. The role involves working across package, board, and system levels to ensure that designs meet stringent electrical performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative power delivery network (PDN) solutions at package and system levels.
• Evaluate and validate designs against challenging electrical performance requirements.
• Collaborate with layout engineers and IP teams to optimize PDN performance.
• Perform simulations, evaluate new EDA tools, and create scripts to improve workflow efficiency.
• Design and verify signal integrity solutions for high‑speed interfaces using electromagnetic simulation tools.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical Engineering with 10‑15 years of relevant experience.
• Deep expertise in power integrity, signal integrity, inductance, and capacitance.
• Strong understanding of package and board implementation constraints.
• Proven ability to work with engineers across multiple geographies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Required skills

• PowerSI and SIwave for PDN design and analysis.
• Ansys HFSS (or similar 3D electromagnetic extraction tools).
• Cadence Allegro schematics and layout tools.
• Experience with 2.5D/3D package development and high‑speed interfaces such as DDR4, PCIe Gen3/4, and Ethernet up to 200 Gbps.
• Hands‑on measurement experience for power supply designs (advantage).
