Principal Quality Development Leader – NPE

About the role

NVIDIA Networking Product Engineering seeks a Principal Quality Development Leader to shape and drive quality methodology across its product development organization. You will ensure quality is built‑in from concept through production, influencing design, validation, NPI, manufacturing transfer and field‑learning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality activities throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through NPI and manufacturing transfer.
• Define, improve and govern development quality processes and frameworks across design, engineering, test and verification.
• Participate in design reviews, providing quality input and milestone‑readiness guidance.
• Lead risk‑management activities, including FMEA and preventive quality methods.
• Drive root‑cause investigations and ensure effective CAPA implementation and closure.
• Define, monitor and report quality KPIs to NPE leadership.
• Collaborate with R&D, reliability, manufacturing, supply‑chain and operations partners.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Serve as primary interface to Hardware and Operations Quality teams, driving organizational learning and governance.

Required profile

• B.Sc./M.Sc. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in hardware product development, development quality or reliability leadership.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, NPI, validation, manufacturing transfer and field‑quality feedback loops.
• Proven ability to work across design, engineering, validation, operations and manufacturing organizations.
• Excellent communication, influence and stakeholder‑management skills in a matrix environment.
