Principal DevOps Engineer – AI‑Assisted Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our AWS‑based production infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms, driving automation, AI‑assisted operations and developer velocity for our Cortex Agentix Endpoint Security product.

Key responsibilities

• Design, operate and continuously improve scalable, reliable, secure and cost‑effective AWS infrastructure.
• Run and enhance Kubernetes clusters using Helm, ArgoCD and Terraform to support rapid product delivery.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release workflows and GitOps practices that increase developer velocity and production safety.
• Develop AI‑assisted operational agents that triage alerts, summarize incidents, propose fixes and answer engineering queries.
• Create automation and self‑service tooling to eliminate manual provisioning, monitoring and incident‑response tasks.
• Analyze operational data to identify reliability gaps, inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Partner with engineering, security, product and leadership to remove bottlenecks and support safe growth.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and AI‑driven approaches while balancing reliability, cost and simplicity.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience operating production infrastructure on AWS.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform and CI/CD systems.
• Proven ability to own platform projects end‑to‑end and troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Collaborative mindset comfortable working across engineering, security, product and leadership.
• Passion for applying AI, automation and intelligent workflows to operational challenges.
