Pharmacy Operations Manager – Deputy

About the role

This position supports the day‑to‑day management of pharmacy operations, ensuring high‑quality pharmaceutical services for patients and healthcare professionals. The Deputy Pharmacy Manager leads inventory, procurement, and workflow processes while maintaining compliance with Israeli Ministry of Health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy workflows and guarantee delivery of high‑quality services.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and logistics of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
• Plan and control budgets, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Address drug shortages and ensure product availability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Ministry of Health guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a valid Israeli pharmacist license.
• Significant experience as a licensed pharmacist.
• Previous management or formal leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and Ministry of Health requirements.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with pharmacy, logistics, and financial information systems.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, budget management, and inventory control.
