About the role
We are a growing freight forwarding company looking for an Ocean Import Operations Coordinator to manage ocean import shipments from start to finish. The role involves close interaction with shipping lines, customers, and international partners.
Key responsibilities
- Manage ocean import shipments from A to Z.
- Prepare quotations and shipment pricing.
- Open and manage shipment files in the system.
- Coordinate and follow up with shipping lines.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers and provide status updates.
- Work closely with international agents and partners.
Required profile
- Previous experience in ocean freight forwarding (advantage).
- High level of English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with the Unifreight system (significant advantage).
- Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and excellent interpersonal skills.
