Mid-Level Security Engineer (AWS)

About the role

Cross River is seeking a Mid-Level Security Engineer to strengthen the security and compliance of its cloud infrastructure. You will work primarily within AWS environments, automating security monitoring, conducting assessments, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Automate security monitoring, auditing, and incident‑response workflows.
• Conduct regular security assessments, control testing, and audits; support remediation with partner teams.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to cloud cost‑optimization while maintaining security posture.
• Participate in incident response, threat analysis, and post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• Strong individual contributor with a focus on high‑quality security outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Hebrew and English.
• Passionate about fintech innovation and continuous technical growth.
• Ability to balance business needs with security best practices.
