Medical Advisor – Field Responsibilities

About the role

The Medical Advisor with field responsibilities at Allergan Aesthetics will act as a trusted scientific partner for internal teams and external healthcare professionals. This role bridges science, strategy, and patient impact, supporting product knowledge, scientific dialogue, and future innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑depth clinical and scientific information on Allergan Aesthetics products to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with national and local opinion leaders to align scientific strategy.
• Organise advisory boards, scientific roundtables, and attend key congresses.
• Review investigator‑initiated study proposals and manage related requests.
• Support publication activities and respond to publication requests from physicians.
• Ensure compliance with international, EU, and local legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
• Advise speakers for congresses, symposia, and other scientific events.
• Create and deliver scientific training materials for both internal and external audiences.
• Review and approve promotional materials within the area of expertise.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Allergan Aesthetics products, therapeutic areas, emerging indications, and pipeline developments.
• Experience in scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and opinion leaders.
• Ability to translate clinical insights into strategic recommendations for brand and leadership teams.
• Familiarity with clinical research processes, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.

Required skills

• Clinical and scientific expertise in aesthetics or related therapeutic areas.
• Knowledge of investigator‑initiated study management.
• Proficiency in preparing scientific training and promotional review.
