Mechanical Design Engineer – R&D (Rosh HaAyin)

About the role

We are a leading global manufacturer of industrial digital printers seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join our R&D team in Rosh HaAyin. You will be responsible for creating, testing and delivering next‑generation printing systems while working closely with multi‑disciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design new mechanical systems and sub‑assemblies that meet product and business requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on existing systems and propose robust, long‑term solutions.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, system integration and chemical engineering teams to deliver integrated designs.
• Plan, build and execute physical experiments to validate designs and engineering solutions.
• Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) from creation through implementation on the manufacturing line.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience, including at least 2 years of hands‑on mechanical design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD design and creation of engineering drawings (SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Strong professional communication skills in English and Hebrew.
