Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are a leading technology company developing multidisciplinary products that combine mechanics, optics, and electronics. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team and drive the mechanical development of new products from concept through mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for new products, covering concept, detailed design, and transition to serial production.
• Design mechanical systems for demanding military applications and harsh environments, including extreme temperatures, shock, and immersion.
• Create plastic injection‑molded parts using advanced and composite materials.
• Package electronic boards and components mechanically.
• Design flexible cable harnesses.
• Collaborate closely with industrial designers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (required).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Experience in mechanical packaging of components is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of CNC machining.
• Experience with pressure die casting.
• Familiarity with investment (lost‑wax) casting.
• Expertise in plastic injection molding.
