Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer to join our mechanical development team. You will work closely with development teams, management and customers to create robust mechanical enclosures for marine, airborne and ground‑based systems, and support the transition from development to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design mechanical enclosures for marine sonar, underwater acoustics and RF communication systems.
• Develop ruggedized and industrial enclosures for airborne and ground‑based projects.
• Perform thermal, structural and dynamic analyses using SolidWorks Simulation.
• Support mechanical packaging of electronic circuits and ensure proper heat dissipation.
• Manage and inspect mechanical manufacturing at subcontractors and oversee system integration.
• Conduct field installations and provide on‑site support to customers in Israel and abroad.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical development.
• Proven track record designing enclosures for complex systems with emphasis on heat dissipation.
• Strong ability to present designs and collaborate with customers, management and electronic development teams.
• Experience performing structural and thermal analyses – mandatory.
• Experience with marine/underwater applications – an advantage.
• Very good English communication skills.
