Maintenance Associate

About the role

Pi-Cardia is seeking a proactive Maintenance Associate to support day‑to‑day maintenance and facility operations across its manufacturing, quality control, and R&D environments. The role ensures equipment, utilities and building systems are reliable, safe and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate manufacturing, QC and R&D equipment, jigs and tools.
• Develop and monitor an annual maintenance plan, defining required actions for all equipment.
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems throughout the facilities.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration programs.
• Manage external vendors and act as first responder for facility‑related emergencies.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
• Train staff on safety practices related to equipment use.

Required profile

• Strong technical ability with a hands‑on approach.
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry (advantage).
• Ability to read and interpret technical/mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
• Solid communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Practical Engineer qualification or equivalent relevant technical experience (advantage).
