macOS/iOS Software Engineer

About the role

Cato Networks is seeking an experienced Apple Platforms Software Engineer to own and evolve its macOS/iOS client application used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from design and development to CI/CD and release management.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end ownership of macOS and iOS clients, designing and delivering new features from scratch.
• Collaborate with QA, automation, product management and other engineering teams to deliver integrated functionality.
• Assist DevOps in maintaining and enhancing the build system and CI/CD pipelines.
• Research Apple platform technologies and incorporate relevant innovations.
• Support the entire application lifecycle, including release management and production support.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience developing for macOS and/or iOS.
• Proficiency in Swift and Objective‑C.
• Deep understanding of Apple core technologies and multithreading models.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a passion for delivering great user experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
