Logistics Specialist – Data Center Operations

About the role

Amazon Web Services is looking for a Logistics Specialist to support the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure. You will manage inventory, inbound shipments and part flow for data‑center build and repair activities, ensuring high availability and low cost.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate deliveries with carriers, receive shipments and put away parts in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts and manage part movement, age and turns.
• Work with Datacenter Operations Technicians, Engineers, Procurement and Hardware Engineering to fulfill parts requests quickly.
• Process RMAs, receive replacements and interface directly with vendors.
• Enter data accurately, resolve queries from peer organizations and generate daily/weekly metrics.
• Review tickets in the Remedy system and take actions such as ordering, picking, packing, stowing and distributing materials.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience handling physical goods, operating powered equipment (e.g., electric pallet jack).
• Ability to dive deep into data and produce clear reports for internal and external stakeholders.
