Key Account Manager

About the role

Papaya Global is seeking a proactive Key Account Manager to nurture and expand relationships with enterprise‑level clients. You will work closely with the Regional Account Management Lead to drive revenue, support RFP processes, and leverage AI‑powered tools to streamline account activities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their objectives, managing partnerships, and handling escalations to meet service level agreements.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, collaborate with internal teams, and develop amendments for new solutions.
• Deliver exceptional service by resolving issues promptly, conducting regular partnership calls, and aligning with the Service Delivery team.
• Support RFPs and RFIs, contribute to compelling proposals, and participate in interview sessions with the sales team.
• Monitor individual and team KPIs, take corrective actions, and suggest process improvements based on client feedback.
• Utilize AI‑driven workflows and low‑code automations to improve account planning, communication, reporting, and opportunity identification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of account management experience, preferably in payroll, HRIS, or fintech.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Hands‑on experience creating AI‑powered workflows, automations, or custom AI solutions that enhance account management and customer engagement.
