Junior Mechanical & Product Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Mechanical & Product Design Engineer to join our team in Kfar Saba. This role offers hands‑on experience at the intersection of mechanics, electronics, hardware and software, allowing you to develop expertise in designing network connectivity products.

Key responsibilities

• Design high‑density copper panels, fiber trays and smart enclosures using 3D CAD tools, primarily SolidWorks.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, bills of materials and assembly instructions for production partners.
• Support material selection and evaluate manufacturing processes such as sheet‑metal fabrication and plastic injection molding.
• Participate in prototyping, design improvements and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
• Collaborate with hardware, electronics and software teams to integrate LED indicators, smart sensors and controller cards into mechanical designs.
• Receive training on global fiber‑optic (LC, MPO/MTP) and copper cabling standards and perform QA testing of prototypes.
• Identify design or manufacturing issues and work with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, or strong academic projects/internships for fresh graduates.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
• Orientation toward graphic/product design is a plus.
• Curious, hands‑on problem solver with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
