About the role
Flextronics is hiring an IT Support Technician based in Modi'in, Israel. The role covers installing and supporting desktop and laptop hardware and software, computer peripherals and office printers, and maintaining PC assets.
Key responsibilities
- Perform the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems.
- Configure cellular phones for end users to meet corporate specifications.
- Help determine suitable software to meet user requirements.
- Manage supplies for printers (excluding paper).
- Install software, patches and updates on desktops and laptops.
- Keep accurate records of all assets supported by the desk-side team, in physical and logical form.
- Provide first-line technical support for end-user computers, printers and network connectivity, and troubleshoot software and hardware failures.
- Assist the Network Administrator/Analyst in troubleshooting network-related issues.
- Work with vendors to arrange repairs of hardware such as printers, laptops and desktops.
- Perform image builds for desktops and laptops.
