IT Support Engineer

About the role

Candex is seeking an adaptable IT Support Engineer to join its global IT team. You will provide technical support across multiple offices, manage both local and remote infrastructures, and ensure efficient use of tools and systems. The role requires a solid IT foundation, a passion for learning, and close collaboration with all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day IT operations, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, support, and maintenance.
• Develop documentation and user‑training materials for software and tools.
• Establish scalable employee lifecycle management processes.
• Create and enforce IT policies that enhance data security, system integrity, and availability.
• Maintain compliance with ISO27001 or similar information‑security standards.
• Manage permissions and licenses across company applications.
• Maintain hardware inventory, handle orders, and coordinate with external vendors.
• Package and distribute software across various operating systems.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience in an IT support role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑department collaboration.
• Proficient troubleshooting of both hardware and software issues.
• Thorough knowledge of Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and IoT systems.
• Experience with MDM/MAM solutions such as Microsoft Intune and Google MDM.
• Basic coding or scripting ability (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Familiarity with BYOD enrollment processes and Zero‑Trust security principles.
• Understanding of RBAC federated authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID) and provisioning standards (SCIM).
