IT Support Engineer

About the role

Tenable is seeking a security‑focused IT Support Engineer to provide high‑touch technical assistance to executives and global staff. You will ensure devices are secure, patched, and operational while leveraging AI tools to streamline documentation and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues on Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and core business applications.
• Deliver white‑glove support to C‑suite executives and remote teams, minimizing downtime.
• Use AI tools such as Google Gemini and Claude to create technical guides and accelerate troubleshooting.
• Maintain endpoint security, patching, compliance, and directly address vulnerability tickets.
• Onboard new hires by provisioning hardware, access, and delivering IT orientation.
• Support local office networks, Wi‑Fi, and conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Workspace).
• Collaborate with InfoSec, Networking, and Systems Operations to follow global IT processes.
• Manage hardware lifecycle from Apple Business Manager provisioning to secure decommissioning.

Required profile

• 3+ years of technical support experience in a fast‑paced, global high‑tech environment.
• Strong security mindset with experience in vulnerability remediation.
• Proven ability to support executive‑level users and remote staff.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Required skills

• Windows and macOS configuration and troubleshooting.
• JAMF and BigFix for endpoint management.
• Active Directory, DNS, and virtual machine administration.
• Apple Business Manager for device provisioning.
• AI tools (Google Gemini, Claude) for documentation.
• Endpoint security and vulnerability ticket handling.
• Zoom, Google Workspace, and basic networking/Wi‑Fi support.
