Information Security Expert – Shfela Area

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Information Security Expert to lead and enhance security processes for a leading organization in the Shfela area. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining advanced security solutions while collaborating closely with IT and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead information‑security processes and deploy complex security systems.
• Operate, install, upgrade and maintain firewalls, WAFs, secure web gateways and related tools.
• Plan and support enterprise systems from a security perspective.
• Assist development teams in applying secure‑development principles.
• Develop automation scripts and operational workflows.
• Identify, analyse and resolve technical security issues.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level design documentation for new security implementations.
• Coordinate with IT and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of security initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security, firewall integration, WAF or secure web gateway within a large organization.
• Proven experience with Check Point and Palo Alto firewalls, including L3‑L7 policy creation and optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience in at least four of the following: WAF management, endpoint detection and response, large‑scale secure web gateway operations, secure mail relay, incident investigation using sandbox and static/dynamic analysis, or cloud security (Azure/AWS).
• Demonstrated ability to design secure network architectures and authentication mechanisms for web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
