Industrial Welder for Solar PV Installation

About the role

The United Nations Truce Supervision Organisation seeks an experienced Industrial Welder to support the installation of 12 kWp solar‑PV hybrid power systems. The contractor will work on‑site to fabricate and mount durable metal frames and concrete foundations for solar panels across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Cut and weld metal sections to create frames and brackets for rooftop solar‑PV panels.
• Mount 208 solar panels (415 W each) on newly fabricated welded support structures.
• Fabricate additional support structures as required by project needs.
• Construct reinforced concrete pad foundations for metal pillars supporting the frames.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on welding experience with a recognized organization.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, schematics and installation manuals.
• Experience working at height and on elevated structures.
• Fluency in Hebrew; English proficiency is desired.
