Incident Response Analyst

About the role

Join a leading cyber security vendor as an Incident Response Analyst, protecting customers from sophisticated threats. You will lead daily incident management, conduct forensic investigations, and deliver actionable remediation guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily customer incident tickets and coordinate response actions.
• Perform incident response and forensic analysis on compromised systems.
• Develop and prioritize response efforts, producing clear incident reports detailing attack vectors, methodologies, and artifacts.
• Handle complex global incidents and conduct large‑scale compromise assessments.
• Create incident response plans, playbooks, and tabletop training scenarios.
• Produce detailed incident reports and communicate findings effectively to customers.
• Build and maintain sandbox/test lab environments for malicious code evaluation.
• Collaborate within a team to coordinate response activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 2‑5 years in incident response and system compromise analysis.
• Proven experience with security reviews and vulnerability risk assessments using manual and automated tools.
• Background with enterprise security solutions and incident crisis management.
• Experience designing and delivering attack simulations for security teams.
• Ability to create documented procedures and plans for security operations.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation, including at least one weekend per month.
• Potential domestic or international travel as needed.
