Incident Responder

About the role

Wiz is seeking an experienced Incident Responder to join its newly established team in Israel. You will investigate real‑world cyber‑attacks on customers' cloud environments, perform proactive threat hunting, and collaborate closely with client teams to mitigate threats.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate cyber‑attacks on cloud workloads, determine root causes and scope of compromise using the Wiz platform.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting to uncover hidden attacks and cloud threats.
• Work with customer teams during engagements to respond effectively to incidents.
• Produce professional engagement reports with high‑level summaries and detailed technical findings.
• Develop and document incident response methodologies, best practices, and SOPs for cloud environments.
• Partner with threat research and engineering groups to improve detections, tools, and platform features based on investigation experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, and threat hunting.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Ability to work independently and innovate in a fast‑growing environment.

Required skills

• Cloud security expertise across major providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and cloud architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system internals.
• Proficiency with scripting and querying languages.
