Heavy Equipment Operator

About the role

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work on site in Israel supporting the AFCAPV program. The role combines technical operation of material‑handling equipment with clerical tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy and light material‑handling equipment to receive, store, process orders and ship materials.
• Load and unload pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery.
• Assist the shipping clerk with palletizing supplies and preparing shipping documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment and supplies being shipped.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on assigned equipment.
• Carry out additional duties as required by the program.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Operator license for a motorized pallet jack (walk‑behind).
• At least two years of experience in shipping, receiving, stocking or warehousing.
• Formal training on material‑handling equipment from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations; prior military experience is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
