Head of Finance

About the role

We are a fast‑growing fintech operating at the intersection of payments and employee benefits. We are looking for a Head of Finance to build and lead our finance function from the ground up, partnering closely with the CEO and senior management to drive strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage the entire finance function, including accounting, FP&A, and treasury.
• Take full ownership of financial reporting, internal controls, and day‑to‑day financial operations.
• Oversee cash‑flow management, banking relationships, credit facilities and supplier payments.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, budget control and performance analysis.
• Prepare management reports and financial analyses to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on strategic initiatives.
• Build scalable financial processes, controls and infrastructure.
• Manage two bookkeepers and expand the finance team as the company grows.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Controller.
• Background in commercial, digital, e‑commerce or consumer‑facing companies is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and ability to translate data into insights.
• Highly driven, proactive, independent and comfortable in a fast‑changing environment.
