Frontend Software Engineer - Website Team

About the role

ERGO NEXT is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to own the public face of NEXT Insurance. You will create fast, accessible, and scalable web experiences for millions of small‑business owners across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale high‑performance web applications using React and NextJS.
• Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, TBT) to boost user experience and SEO.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Data teams to develop tools for SEM campaigns, custom tracking, and conversion funnels.
• Lead features from technical scoping through design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, and post‑launch monitoring.
• Evolve CMS architecture, design systems, and frontend toolchains to maintain high productivity and system health.
• Maintain high code quality, enforce automated testing best practices, and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in high‑scale production web environments.
• Strong focus on performance optimization and technical SEO.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with product and marketing teams.
• Commitment to code quality and automated testing.
