Financial Controller

About the role

CFO Plus is an outsourced CFO firm that supports a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from small Israeli businesses to publicly listed companies on the Australian and Canadian stock exchanges. We are looking for a Financial Controller to manage client portfolios end‑to‑end, delivering high‑quality accounting and reporting services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping, month‑end close, and preparation of financial statements for assigned clients.
• Provide ongoing controllership for SMEs across trade, services, industry, and technology sectors.
• Perform management accounting tasks such as budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare IFRS‑compliant reports and periodic filings for foreign‑listed companies, liaising directly with overseas auditors.
• Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• CPA or controller with at least 3 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with IFRS reporting; experience with public companies is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English for communication with international stakeholders.
• Self‑starter who takes full ownership of client deliverables without close supervision.
• Curious about technology and comfortable using AI‑based tools.
