Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the Finance & Accounting team at Brenntag’s Tel Aviv hub, overseeing financial reporting, analysis and cash‑flow management to support the company’s growth in the chemicals distribution sector.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and analyse financial data, preparing regular reports for senior leadership.
• Lead a team of seven finance professionals, coordinating audits and ensuring compliance with Israeli and international accounting standards.
• Conduct in‑depth financial analysis in partnership with regional and global controlling teams to identify growth opportunities and cost‑saving measures.
• Manage cash‑flow activities, budgeting processes and the preparation of periodic financial statements.
• Communicate financial insights to executives and stakeholders, highlighting risks and recommending mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline; CPA accreditation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with solid numeracy skills.
• Experience leading finance teams and managing audits.
• Familiarity with Israeli financial regulations and international standards (IFRS, GAAP).

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP R3.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP reporting requirements.
