Finance Manager

About the role

We are a leading global Chinese automotive brand expanding our presence in Israel. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with local work rights to lead financial operations, tax compliance, and treasury management, ensuring alignment between global standards and Israeli statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes and prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Israeli GAAP.
• Oversee local tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax) and ensure compliance with Israeli tax laws and transfer‑pricing regulations.
• Direct local bank account operations, cash‑flow management, foreign‑exchange risk handling, and salary/vendor disbursements.
• Develop annual budgets, monitor operational expenses, track variances and provide cost‑control recommendations.
• Maintain internal controls, coordinate with external accounting firms, tax advisors and internal auditors for statutory audits.
• Act as the primary finance liaison between the headquarters, local management, tax authorities and banking partners.

Required profile

• Valid Israeli permanent residency or full legal work authorization.
• Fluent Hebrew and professional English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or Economics; CPA certification preferred.
• 3–6 years of experience in financial management, corporate accounting or tax advisory, preferably in a Big 4 or international automotive/trading environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, high ethical standards and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
