Field IT Technician

About the role

The Field IT Technician will work on‑site for a leading organization, providing hands‑on support for a range of endpoint devices and network services. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and connectivity issues, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve problems with computers, printers, scanners, monitors and other endpoint equipment.
• Troubleshoot communication and network issues, including TCP/IP and remote access tools.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Work with Active Directory, Exchange, Windows, Office and IP telephony systems.
• Handle information‑security incidents and support organizational security policies.
• Provide support for AS400 environments.
• Independently manage tasks and small projects.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as an IT Technician in a medium‑sized or larger organization.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP networking, remote access tools and information‑security practices.
• Experience with IP telephony, Windows and Microsoft Office environments.
• Ability to work Sunday through Thursday mornings.
