Embedded Software Team Leader

About the role

Ceva’s AI Division is seeking an Embedded Software Team Leader to head a critical component of its NPU AI software stack. You will guide a team that bridges the NPU IP with the host CPU, delivering high‑performance firmware, drivers, and runtime services for cutting‑edge AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Embedded Software engineering team, fostering high performance and productivity.
• Own design, development, and implementation of the NPU‑host software components, aligned with the AI Software SDK roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups—including hardware, NPU architects, and other developer teams—to integrate solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and conduct performance reviews for team members.
• Ensure project timelines, deliverables, and automated CI/release processes are met.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience leading software teams.
• At least 5 years hands‑on software engineering in embedded/firmware domains (drivers, RTOS).
• Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
