Electrical Technician – Low Voltage Systems (R&D & Service)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Practical Engineer or Technician to develop, assemble, test and support low‑voltage electronic systems and compact devices used in pharmaceutical, biotech and medical equipment. The role combines hands‑on electronics work, delicate mechanical assembly, basic pneumatics, software configuration and on‑site customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, configure, test and repair low‑voltage electronic devices and control systems.
• Perform delicate mechanical assemblies involving enclosures, sensors, connectors, tubing, fittings, pneumatic components and precision parts.
• Work with DC power supplies, electronic boards, sensors, solenoid valves, pumps, motors, relays, communication modules and embedded computers.
• Execute soldering, crimping, cable preparation, connector assembly and panel wiring.
• Read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, Bills of Materials and assembly instructions.
• Use measurement and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators and electrical test gear.
• Support R&D activities including prototype assembly, component selection, testing, troubleshooting and design improvements.
• Configure device software, firmware, communication settings and basic user interfaces.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and document results, deviations and corrective actions.
• Prepare devices for shipment, install, commission and test them at customer sites locally and internationally.
• Provide product demonstrations, training and remote/on‑site troubleshooting, as well as preventive maintenance and upgrades.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in electronics engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with low‑voltage electronic systems and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to work on‑site and travel to customer locations as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation.

Required skills

• Soldering, crimping and cable preparation.
• Assembly and wiring of low‑voltage control panels.
• Knowledge of DC power supplies, sensors, solenoid valves, pumps, motors and relays.
• Reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials.
• Use of multimeters, oscilloscopes and pressure calibrators.
• Basic programming or firmware configuration.
• Execution of Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of electronic devices.
• Preventive maintenance, calibration support and component replacement.
