Director of Full Stack Engineering

About the role

ScaleOps is seeking a Director of Full Stack Engineering to lead its core product organization. The role combines hands‑on technical leadership with the responsibility of building and scaling high‑performing engineering teams that deliver the autonomous cloud and AI infrastructure platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high‑performing engineering organization responsible for the core product offering.
• Define and execute the engineering strategy for the Kubernetes resource‑management platform.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Go‑to‑Market leaders to translate business strategy into engineering execution.
• Drive technical excellence, architectural direction, and engineering best practices across multiple teams.
• Build, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation.
• Scale engineering processes, organizational structure, and delivery capabilities while maintaining high quality.
• Balance hands‑on technical leadership with organizational leadership, making key architectural and strategic decisions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership roles in high‑growth SaaS or cloud infrastructure companies.
• Proven experience managing multiple engineering teams and developing engineering managers.
• Strong background in distributed systems and cloud‑native technologies.
• Track record of scaling engineering organizations and product delivery through rapid growth.
• Effective partnership with Product and Executive leadership to deliver business impact.
