Director of Engineering – Hybrid

About the role

Partnerize is seeking a hands‑on Director of Engineering to lead and scale the Konnecto engineering organization in Israel. You will be responsible for the success, growth, and effectiveness of an experienced team while ensuring strong alignment with product and business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team through regular coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Create an environment where engineers can perform at a high level, grow professionally, and take ownership of their work.
• Support hiring efforts, including interviewing, onboarding, and team expansion initiatives.
• Scale the Israeli R&D organization while maintaining operational excellence.
• Improve execution, support technical decision‑making, and expand the team to meet growth targets.
• Align engineering delivery with product strategy and business goals.

• Strong people‑leadership skills with a track record of developing engineering talent.
• Technical credibility and hands‑on experience in large‑scale, data‑intensive systems.
• Operational excellence and a pragmatic approach to software delivery.
• Ability to navigate complex technical challenges and drive effective solutions.
