DevOps Engineer

About the role

CommBox is looking for a DevOps Engineer to keep its high‑traffic AI‑driven CX platform fast, reliable, and secure. You will work with modern cloud tooling, automation, and AI assistants to streamline delivery and improve operational quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with automated testing, linting, and security gates.
• Operate a GitOps workflow with ArgoCD as the source of truth for Kubernetes cluster state.
• Manage multi‑account AWS environments via Infrastructure as Code, optimizing performance and security.
• Run and troubleshoot EKS workloads and contribute shared Helm charts that enforce compliance.
• Address performance, scale, and security challenges; provide root‑cause analysis for production incidents.
• Leverage AI coding assistants and AIOps tools to accelerate scripting, tooling, and incident diagnosis.
• Identify repetitive manual tasks and automate them to improve reliability and developer experience.
• Collaborate with R&D to optimize service performance, deployment reliability, failover, and scaling.
• Stay current with CloudOps best practices, fast deployment, security, and monitoring tools.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE/Platform engineer in a high‑scale environment.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps flows (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or equivalents).
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Comfort using AI coding assistants to speed up script generation and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated passion for learning and adopting new AI tools in DevOps practice.
