DevOps Engineer

About the role

Wiliot is looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to own the operational reliability of its cloud‑native platform. You will work on a cutting‑edge IoT sticker product that combines semiconductor and cloud technologies, serving large consumer, retail, food, and pharmaceutical customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end production operations across AWS and GCP, including deployments, scaling, high availability, and enhancements.
• Operate Kubernetes at scale on AWS EKS and GCP GKE, managing networking, autoscaling, and resource allocation.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Terragrunt or Pulumi.
• Develop and manage deployment pipelines with Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD), GitHub Actions, and GitHub.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, lead incident triage, mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
• Drive cost visibility and FinOps practices across cloud providers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience running production systems.
• Strong expertise in AWS; GCP experience is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of production‑grade Kubernetes, networking, and autoscaling.
• Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi).
• Solid Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, load balancing, VPC).
• Experience with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki or equivalents.
• Ability to script in Python, Go, or Bash and read application code.
• Clear written English and experience working in distributed, global teams.
