DevOps Engineer – Embedded Systems

About the role

abra R&D is looking for a DevOps Engineer specialized in embedded systems to join our Tel Aviv/Jerusalem team. You will design, build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and automation that support hardware and firmware validation.

Key responsibilities

• Create and own CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using YAML, templates and custom agent allocation.
• Develop automation scripts in PowerShell and Python for lab bring‑up, firmware/driver validation and remote hardware control.
• Build AI‑driven agents for failure analysis, build summarisation and automated reporting.
• Analyse telemetry data with Kusto/KQL to detect trends, regressions and performance issues.
• Integrate Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams and dashboards to enable automated information flow.
• Identify manual processes and automate them to increase self‑service and reduce toil.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AI tools and agent frameworks such as GitHub Copilot.
• Deep practical knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML), Repos and REST APIs.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python, with an emphasis on clean, tested code.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, branching strategies and pull‑request reviews.
• Debugging mindset and ability to trace root causes in complex hardware‑software systems.
• Proactive attitude, capable of working independently and delivering well‑documented solutions.
