DevOps Engineer – Cloud Platform (AWS, Kubernetes)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and operate a high‑traffic, multi‑tenant cloud platform that powers AI‑driven customer service solutions for global enterprises. The role is based in Herzliya, Israel and follows a hybrid work model with one day per week remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale micro‑services infrastructure on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm.
• Architect and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash to streamline provisioning, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Manage enterprise data stores and caching layers, including MySQL, Redis and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate emerging AI coding assistants into DevOps processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on DevOps/SRE experience in high‑scale environments.
• At least 4 years of deep experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, IAM).
• Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm.
• Proven ability to build CI/CD pipelines and implement GitOps practices.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments, including performance tuning and security.
• Hands‑on experience with MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Active interest in using AI coding tools to accelerate engineering workflows.
