Data Engineer

About the role

Varonis is looking for a Data Engineer to help protect data from the inside out. You will join a fast‑moving, collaborative team that builds the industry’s first fully autonomous Data Security Platform, enabling customers to reduce risk with minimal human effort.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate data from diverse sources.
• Leverage Databricks and modern data platforms to manage, transform, and process large data sets.
• Collaborate with software teams to understand data needs and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with cloud‑based solutions.
• Proven track record of implementing large‑scale data solutions end‑to‑end.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
